London: Banksy, the Street Artist
Since his birth, many have called him an urban legend. They were probably right. Up to this day this remains the best way to describe Banksy, as his identity is still concealed.
His cradle was Bristol, but the majority of his artworks has appeared in London. Walking through its streets you could catch a glimpse of a true masterpiece and not even realize it, because stuck to the pargets of the walls and to the orange bricks of this city there are graffiti generated by the most famous graffiti artist of this generation.
These artworks are all throughout the city, that becomes a true open air museum. You just have to know where to look. You don’t need tickets or tourists guides. Pure art is less hidden behind museum doors that you would have imagined.
However, it is fleeting, and it is at risk to disappear from one day to the other. With some paint, many graffiti have disappeared in the matter of minutes.
If you ever walk through the streets of London, feel free to be amazed before the artworks on its walls. You could be one of the last people to do so. Book your hotel in the magical London!
