Residenza Ca' Dario is situated in a tranquil private courtyard, close to Piazzale Roma and just 5 minutes from Santa Lucia train station. Charmingly converted from a private house into a guest house, rooms are simply but tastefully furnished and overlook a nearby waterway. Although easily accessed by public transport, Residenza Ca’ Dario lies in one of the most tranquil and characteristically Venetian parts of the city and is close to some of Venice's greatest architectural and artistic treasures. The guest house offers comfortable apartments close to the Jewish Ghetto and a few steps from St. Mark's Square. The meeting point for check-in and keys is at Residenza Ca' Dario.

In the past, this building was a convent and now it has been charmingly trasformed in a pleasant Guest-house. Its impeccably clean rooms are simply but tastefully furnished, they have air-conditioning, some of them are en-suite, while some others have shared bathroom facilities. There are single, double and triple rooms and most have a view over a nearby waterway. They are very comfortable for couples and for families travelling with children who could stay in our Junior Suite, a family room with a king size bed, two single beds, a baby cot (on request), cooking facilities, private bathroom , cable Tv and A/C.
For all our Guests, a breakfast with self-made service is included in the price.

Country information
Santa Croce is the smallest 'sestiere' in Venice but not for this the poorer in history. Many are the churches and the palaces of high architectonic relief like the Frari Church, Saint Giacomo dell' Orio, the St. Rocco School and St. Giovanni Evangelista till to arrive to Rialto.
How to reach us
By train:
From S. Lucia station cross the bridge (Degli Scalzi) in front of you and turn right onto the Fondamenta S. Simone Piccolo, then immediately before the church turn left into Calle Nuova S. Simone and follow the street to Corte Canal n. 646, two minutes away.
By bus from airport:
From Piazzale Roma (Garage S. Marco or Garage Pubblico).
Fondamenta S. Chiara, cross the bridge, take Fondamenta della Croce, cross the bridge and turn right onto the Fondamenta dei Tolentini, through the tunnel Sottoportego Delle Case Nuove, keep right into Campo della Lana and, just before the bridge, turn left into Corte Canal n. 646.

Child policy
Children older than 10 or the adults pay 30,00 EUR for person per night (spending the night in the additional bed).
Cancellations
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
